CTC offer a comprehensive support service on all aspects
of curriculum planning and timetabling for those schools using Facility
Scheduler for the construction of their timetable. Support can be accessed
via the web, by e-mail or by telephone.Support is free to schools who purchase
training or consultancy from CTC. We also offer support at very competitive
prices for schools who use Facility Scheduler and who have been trained
by accredited Serco Learning Solutions staff. Telephone and e-mail support
is available during normal office hours, Monday-Friday, throughout the year.
At peak timetabling times this can be extended to Saturday mornings by negotiation.
The aim is to give an immediate response but at peak times this cannot be
guaranteed. When the phone lines are engaged clients are asked to e-mail
details of the query to peterkb@tiscali.co.uk. The target is to provide
a response within 8 working hours of the call being placed. If this is not
possible clients will be contacted and a resolution time will be given.
A response will always be given and if for any reason a solution or explanation
of the causes of the problem cannot be given within 2 working days your
support account will not be debited.The primary objective of the support
service that we offer is to keep the work flow in schools even and avoid/prevent
stress points.
Schools are encouraged to:
1. Plan work well in advance and try to anticipate problems and seek help
in non-stressful circumstances.
2. Identify areas of strength and weakness in your timetabling team and
undertake training as necessary.
3. Make sure that all the staff who are involved in timetabling have been
given access to training and all the relevant documentation.
4. Ensure that the timetabling team have access to the CTC web site.
